Episode Notes

For the second-to-last episode of Season 5, we’ve got stand-up comedian and ghostwriter, Beth Sherman, on the show to share some practical and hilarious tips for giving toasts and speeches at weddings.

About Beth Sherman:

Beth Sherman is a stand-up comedian and writer who has won SEVEN daytime Emmy Awards. You’ve very likely seen Beth’s work on shows like Ellen, The Tonight Show, David Letterman, and more. She is absolutely hilarious and has recently fallen into a little sideline writing, adding comedy to all kinds of speeches, especially wedding speeches.

She has ghostwritten nearly a hundred best man speeches, grooms’ speeches, father-of-the-bride speeches, toasts for the rehearsal dinner, speeches for friends and family acting as officiants — she’s even ghostwritten the vows themselves.

We are SO glad to have her on the show today and we have a feeling that everyone out there is going to have a great time listening to this episode.
